Project new hope is a proposed video storage service to be used for fallen police or fire men.
Policemen and women and firemen and women have some of the most dangerous jobs. Most of them face life-threatening scenarios on a daily basis. These men and women help make our communities a better place for us and our families. Yet how often do we take their presence for granted? Better yet, how often do we get to thank them? Maybe it’s about time we did something special for them.
A Proper Goodbye
Policemen and firemen are not perfect people. They are like you and me, they make mistakes and they have failures. Most importantly, they too have families like yours and mine. For the most part, they still get up each day to protect and serve. 126 policemen and 106 firemen were killed just trying to earn a living in the United States in 2014. How lucky are we?
Nothing ever prepares someone for a loved one’s sudden and violent death. What if you could see that person again with his or her FINAL message to you, forever captured on video?
And if they don’t die? The videos will serve to honor these honorable persons who will risk their lives so we can live ours!
PROJECT NEW HOPE
Project New Hope intends to have policemen and firemen record and store videos for free that would be played to their family, friends, and even the general public, should they lose their lives in the line of duty. Our goal is to have the largest online collection of videos recorded by these essential people in our lives.
$2,500 PROJECT COST
To achieve this, we need funds to purchase a domain website and design it. We will then secure storage and begin offering free services to select locations. Our goal is to touch base with all large cities across the United States by the end of 2016.
