Good afternoon everyone,
I attend Valdosta State University. I couldn't be any more proud to be a student here in my sophomore year, making it after all those high school years of hard work and dedication. It wasn't easy in a lower class home with a job at 15, trying to work and provide for my family. However, I am grateful for where I am in college and how far I have gotten, but it has not been easy.
Here, I have proactively helped in many organizations such as the Student Government Association providing many fundraisers to help other students and the surrounding community. By providing food for the homeless, having fundraisers to promote awareness and organizing rallies for Women Empowerment.
But now through all of my help to others I am starting this campaign and calling on your generosity to help with my tuition as the loans that we have applied for have run out. My mom always said "To those who lend a helping hand, one day the favor might be returned." I don't know when that day will ever be, but I appreciate any effort to help me finish college and obtain my degree. I thank any and everyone for there kindness and support, as it is greatly appreciated.
