Tenzin Tashi is a young Tibetan monk who is now attending his second year of studies at Mahendra Engineering College in the Tamil Nadu State (India). Member of a very poor family of Tawang (North-East India), Tenzin was educated at Sera Monastery (Bylakuppe, Karnataka) since he was a child. After completing his studies at Central School for Tibetans(Mussoorie, Uttarakhand), he moved to Mallasamudram (Tamil Nadu) to study engineering.
Thanks to our support, he would like to become an engineer and work for the benefit of all human beings.
Your donations will help Tenzin continue his education and achieve his dream of building a better future.
My goal, if reached, will cover his total costs for this year, including accommodation and meals.
This campaign is part of our project to fight extreme poverty in India through higher education. Specific attention is devoted to more vulnerable groups such as young women and minorities .
No donation is too small! I hope you’ll join me in supporting this campaign.
Thank you so much for your support!
