Discover the imagination of a child with this adorable book accompanied by the most amazing illustrations. Thanks for clicking on my Kickstarter project!

For those who arn't sure how this works, If i don't meet my goal, you won't be charged anything! You will only be charged if my campaign is fully funded by the deadline!

"Can You Keep A Secret" was born in 2005. I was spending hours & hours in hospital rooms visiting my mother, and often she was sleeping. I decided to turn my time into something creative so I took a hand at starting a book. My nephew had asked me once to keep a secret for him that there was an Astronaut in his room, I took this as the basis for my story and the rest is history.

Once I had my story, I approached one of the most talented illustration artists I know, Marc Lynch from Digart design ( and he agreed to draw up the first 2 pages for me and I could go from there. Well, life happened, I moved from Sydney to London and the book has been forever in the back of my mind and always at the top of my New years resolutions list. Im dedicating this year to making it happen and given the massive market that is Children's Books, and the fact that a lot of publishers wish to use their own designers, I am looking to self publish so I can have complete control over the final product.

The story is about a young boy who has an amazing imagination and a LOT of hidden secrets around his house.

The breakdown of my funding goal is outlined below:

Illustrations, Design & Artworking: £4,650

Risks and challenges

I believe there is little risk to this project. The manuscript is finished, the designer is ready to go and I believe I have been very generous with my timeline that will allow for any mishaps. My background is in Product Development and I am always working on projects that require specific deadlines so I believe my experience has taught me well and the dates are more than achievable.
